Bellow · Ear Prompter

Privacy Policy

Last updated September 16, 2026

The short version: Bellow does not collect, store, or transmit any of your data, to us or to anyone else. There are no accounts, no server, and no network connection of any kind while you use the app. Everything you type or record stays on your device.

What Bellow does

Bellow is an ear prompter. You write or paste a script, and the app reads it aloud into your earbuds, one line at a time, so you can repeat it a beat behind while keeping your eyes on the camera. That's the entire function of the app.

What we collect

Nothing. Bellow has no account system, no sign-in, and no backend server of any kind. The app never makes a network request during normal use. We have no way to see your scripts, your usage, or anything else about you, because nothing ever leaves your device.

What's stored, and where

The scripts you write, your pronunciation preferences, and your app settings (like your preferred reading voice) are saved using standard on-device storage, the same mechanism any app uses to remember your preferences between sessions. This data:

Microphone and camera

Bellow does not request or use your microphone. It has no listening or recording functionality of any kind. The app only speaks to you through your device's speaker or connected earbuds; it never records anything you say back.

Analytics and tracking

Bellow includes no analytics software, no advertising identifiers, no crash reporting services, and no third-party SDKs of any kind. We don't know how many people use the app, how often, or for what, because we've built nothing to tell us.

In-app purchases

Bellow offers an optional one-time purchase to unlock its full feature set after a free trial period. Purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store's standard in-app purchase system. We never see or handle your payment information directly; Apple's own privacy policy governs that transaction.

Children's privacy

Bellow is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, which by extension includes children, since it does not collect information from anyone at all.

Changes to this policy

If Bellow's functionality changes in a way that affects this policy, meaning if the app ever begins collecting or transmitting data where it currently does not, this page will be updated first, with a new "last updated" date above.
